Will This Keypad Work on My Vehicle?

Our system is designed to be flexible so it will work with ALMOST any vehicle that has power door locks.
Which Ones Will NOT Work?
1. It will NOT work for any GMC, Chevrolet, Cadillac, or Buick. Basically, and GM vehicles.
Reason being is that the newer door lock systems in these vehicles require a special datalink adapter (at an additional cost) and the manufacturer has not documented the installation process to our standards. As such, we are not currently offering to our customers until this issue is remedied.
2. It will NOT work with any vehicle that does not have a power door lock system (either factory installed or aftermarket power door lock systems are OK).
3. It will NOT work with the following: Chrysler Town and Country, Toyota Prius, or Any vehicle with Key Fob system that will not allow you to lock the car with the key fob inside the car.

How does the basic installation/operation work?
Basically, you'll stick the keypad to your driver's side door and then install the small "brain unit" under the dash, and attach a few wires to the fusebox/power door locks. Then you'll re-program with your private pin code, and thats it!
Can I install the keypad on another location on my vehicle (i.e. not on the drivers door)?
Yes, its possible. You'll just need to point the internal antenna towards where the unit will be placed.
Will your keypad work on a vehicle WITHOUT power door locks?
Unfortunately, no it will not. Your vehicle needs to have power door locks for our unit to interface.
Will your keypad work on a vehicle with an existing alarm system?
Yes, absolutely. Our keypad will easily tie into your existing power door locks / alarm, so that everything works together.

Yes, absolutely. The battery can be changed, and uses an inexpensive camera-type battery you can add to your order after you purchase or by emailing us directly.

I have a Nissan truck and used to have a keypad similar to this one that you just sync'd with the key fob and stuck it on the door? Is your model like this?
No it is not. There was, at one time, a Nissan-specific unit like this however the manufacturer ceased production and its no longer available. We have not found another "universal" wireless keypad unit, like ours, on the market today that can work for almost all makes and models and, most importantly, doesn't require you to ruin your car doors.
Our keypads simply stick on the door and wirelessly connect to a "brain unit" under the dash, and thats one of the main reasons why they're so extremely popular.
I have a GMC/Chevy vehicle. Will this keypad work for me?
At the current time, our unit will NOT work for late model 2004+ GMC or Chevrolet vehicles. This includes (but is not limited to) all Chevy Silverado trucks, GMC Sierra trucks, Suburbans, or Yukons.
Reason being is that the newer door lock systems in these vehicles require a special datalink adapter (at an additional cost) and the manufacturer has not documented the installation process to our standards. As such, we are not currently offering to our customers until this issue is remedied.
I live outside the United States. Will your keypad work on non-US models?
Typically it will work, however we have not tested international models extensively. Generally speaking, our keypads will work for 99% of all vehicles with power door locks Again, if you have specific questions about your specific models, just email us and we'll be glad to help!
What are the dimensions of the keypad?
The keypad is 3 3/4" long x 1 1/4" tall x 1/2" deep.
What's with the wires in the pictures? I thought this keypad was "wireless"?
To clarify, the wires you see in the pictures go from the "brain" unit that's installed under the driver's side console into your fusebox. Its "wireless" in that you don't need to run wires from the actual keypad, inside your door, over to the brain unit.. The keypad wirelessly connects to the brain unit...

"I have a keypad on a vehicle that I've recently purchased and need the PIN code to re-program"..
Each of our keypads is shipped out with a unique PIN code from the factory, and we do not store this information due to privacy concerns.
In addition, most people change this default pin code immediately, and there is no "master reset" pin code.
Each unit's default PIN code will be shown on one of several small yellow pieces of paper that are included in your package so if you do not have that pin code or the custom pin code from the person whom you purchased the vehicle from, unfortunately, you will need to purchase a new keypad and re-install.
